For half a century, Porsche has been at the heart of international sports car racing and today the company is the biggest volume producer of racing cars in the world, building over 300 cars each winter.

The pair of races is for the drivers from the Porsche Club GB, who normally compete in either the Porsche Club Championship or the Porsche Open Series. By combining the two fields, the grid at Silverstone will be full of a wonderful range of racing Porsches.

From the Club Championship regulars, it is the 964RS and 968CS that is the most popular choice, while the Open field has plenty of 911GT3s and even some more potent GT racers.
