Now under the wing of the Masters Racing Series, the Gentleman Drivers races are a massively popular element of some of the most important historic racing festivals across Europe.

The series is based on mini-endurance two-driver races, and an hour-long race at the Silverstone Classic is one of the category's shorter race distances.

Gentleman Drivers is open to pre '66 GT cars and pre –63 sports-racing cars prepared to FIA Appendix K. The result is over-flowing grids, with AC Cobras, Aston Martins, Chevrolet Corvettes and Jaguar E Types taking on fleet sports-racing cars from Lotus and Lola.
