It is fitting that, as the contemporary British Touring Car Championship celebrates its 50th anniversary, that this event will include a race for the cars from the early years of the championship.

The Top Hat Masters races are for pre '66 racing saloon cars, running to period specification and a fabulous grid of cars will deliver a fine spectacle as American V8 muscle cars take on the more nimble Lotus Cortinas, Alfa Romeos and Mini Coopers. Should the track be wet, watch out for the Minis running rings around the more powerful cars.
