Bentley's Centenary

We celebrated an incredible 100 years of Bentley at the Classic this summer

The Bentley Centenary Trophy for Pre-War Sports Cars was the first of three races marking the Classic's Twilight Tribute to Le Mans this summer, almost exactly 100 years after the legendary W.O. Bentley founded the company that carries his name. A record turn-out of more than 30 iconic racing Bentleys line-up, as in period, in a hugely evocative field also packed with pre-war Alfa Romeos, Aston Martins, Bugattis, Fraser Nashes, Lagondas and MGs all dating back to the 1920s and 1930s. Not only that, but the Bentley Drivers' Club were also be out in force with a spectacular display on the infield and a special centenary track parade on Saturday, too.


100 years of Bentley on the road

A Bentley Blower was caught on camera towing a Continental GT3 to Silverstone for the Classic's Preview Day. Not something you see every day!
