Car Club FAQs

We have created a set of FAQ's specific to the Classic's car club display packages , but if you’ve taken a look at these and you still have questions, please contact our car clubs team:  [email protected].

Entry criteria

Does my car need to represent the car club that is attending?

Yes, your car must be representative of the club the booking code has been used for.

Does my car have to be a certain age to be part of the display?

Yes, to take advantage of a car club display package, your car needs to be a minimum of 20 years old and/ or of special interest.

Infield vehicle display passes

Can I purchase an infield display pass separately?

An infield display pass can only be purchased as part of the Classic's car club display package.

When should I receive my infield vehicle pass?

Your infield display pass is sent separately to your general admission etickets. It is  posted approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.

How do I change my vehicle details?

If you need to change your vehicle details AFTER purchasing a Car Club Display Package AND the vehicle model still represents the club, you can:

  • Until 31st May you can complete the online vehicle change form here (or our ticket agency,  SEE Tickets, can do this over the phone).
  • From 1st June, you'll need to email us at: [email protected]

If the vehicle model does NOT represent the club, you will need to park in the public parking outside the circuit (which is free of charge).

Can I leave my car overnight on the infield during the event?

Yes, your car can be left overnight on the infield (at your own risk), but it must have a valid Infield Pass for the following day. No cars must be left on the infield overnight on the Sunday.

Do you have to be a member of a club to buy car club tickets?

Yes you do - you will need your club's code in order to access the car club display packages and your club can provide you with this. If you’re not a member of a club and are interested in bringing along your classic car or car of special interest to display at the event, please contact us to discuss possible options in further detail: telephone  +44 (0) 1483 524 424 or email  [email protected].

What does a car club package include?

All car club display packages include 2 x adult general admission tickets and 1 x infield vehicle pass

Can I use the car club booking code even if I don’t want to display my car?

No. The club codes are issued for display packages only. If you will not be bringing your car to display at the event, you’re unable to take advantage of the package.

Does the person with the ‘Passenger’ ticket have to arrive in the car with the driver?

The second person admitted as part of the package (the passenger) can arrive separately and can walk in with the ‘passenger’ ticket.

I haven’t received my tickets - what should I do?

The tickets are sent by email and are a PDF attachment which can be printed or downloaded on to your phone to scan upon entry. Please check your junk/spam folder in case your email provider sent them there. If you can't find your ticket and have booked online, log into the SEE Customer Services area here - enter the email address used to purchase tickets and your ticket will be resent (this doesn't apply to your infield display pass).

Are you likely to sell-out?

If you’re looking to buy a car club package for the weekend of the Classic, you will need to do so before the end of May. The packages are subject to availability, though, so we strongly recommend making your booking at the earliest opportunity in order to guarantee your display place infield. If the packages sell out prior to the end of May, then they may come off sale early.

Is there the option to switch the day of my booking at a later date?

This is at the discretion of the organiser and subject to availability. Please contact us by email: [email protected] or telephone: 01483 524 424 in order to discuss the options.

I would like to add something to my original order - how do I do this?

You will need to visit the Buy a Car Club Package page on the website and enter your booking reference number where it asks you whether you have “Already Bought Tickets?”. In addition, you must also re-enter your car club booking reference in the relevant field in order to access your original booking and add extras to it.

I have already purchased my car club package tickets and would like to upgrade/add-on hospitality - how do I do this?

You can add either a Parc Ferme or Clubhouse hospitality package as an upgrade to your existing order.

Alternatively, please contact the Silverstone Classic Hospitality team by email: [email protected] or telephone: 01483 524 424 to discuss prices and to book.

When do I find out whether/ which day my car club has a parade?

Parades will be allocated in April 2020 as they are dependent on the car clubs that register, the number of members that attend with their cars, the days the cars are attending and the significance of the anniversary. The car club co-ordinator will be contacted by the Silverstone Classic Team directly to advise if the club will be allocated a parade. Please contact your car club co-ordinator directly should you wish to find out more about the parade status.

Are there any restrictions on who can take part in the Parades?

Passengers under 18 must have the signed approval of their parent or guardian to participate in a track parade. Passengers in Touring Cars, or Cabriolet/Sports Cars with the hood erected or hardtop fitted, must be 12 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. Passengers in Cabriolet/Sports Cars without the hood erected or hardtop fitted must be aged 16 years or over and be at least 135cm in height. No child under 12 years is allowed to be a passenger. This is subject to change at the discretion of Motorsport UK.
