These terms and conditions apply in their entirety to any transaction conducted via this website, our ticket provider or our merchandise agent. They do not affect your statutory rights.
1.1. Silverstone Classic is organised by Classic Historic Racing Limited under the licence granted to it under contract by Silverstone Circuits Limited.
1.2. Silverstone Circuits Limited is the operating company of Silverstone Circuit at which the Silverstone Classic is held. Silverstone Circuit is owned by The British Racing Drivers’ Club Limited.
1.3. Classic Historic Racing Limited is a subsidiary of Goose Live Events Limited which is also the company to whom the event management services as they relate to the Silverstone Classic are contracted.
1.4. The ticket provider for the Silverstone Classic is The Way Ahead Group Limited (trading as SEE) through whom ticket transactions are processed.
1.5. The Silverstone Classic website is hosted on behalf of Classic Historic Racing Limited by ASP Solutions Limited. It is controlled and operated by Classic Historic Racing Limited.
1.6. Silverstone Woodlands Campsite is the official campsite of the Silverstone Classic, but it is operated by an independent organisation, Silverstone Woodlands Campsite. Classic Historic Racing Limited, the Event Organiser, operate as a reseller of camping only and are not responsible for the Campsite nor do they have any jurisdiction over it.
1.7. Silverstone Classic Merchandise is operated by Event Merchandising Ltd (EML) on behalf of Classic Historic Racing Limited.
The following terms shall have the following meanings respectively in these terms and conditions:
2.1. “Card” a credit or debit card of the type described in clause 7.2 below.
2.2. “Conditions” these terms and conditions.
2.3. “Consumer Protection Regulations” means The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 all subsequent and relevant legislation (including The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
2.4. “Customer” the person attempting to or actually conducting a transaction via the website.
2.5. “Event” the Silverstone Classic motor racing event.
2.6. “Event Organiser” Classic Historic Racing Limited of Sweetapple House, Catteshall Road, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3DJ.
2.7. “Force Majeure” any cause adversely affecting the commencement or continuation of the Event on any particular date arising from acts, events, omissions, happenings or non-happenings beyond the reasonable control of the Event Organiser including (but not limited to) inclement weather, governmental regulations, days of national mourning, animal or human disease, war, acts of terrorism, civil disturbance, any order or act of a governmental or regulatory body, failure of utilities, fire, flood, communicable diseases, funeral of the Monarch, strike, lock-out, disease, epidemic, other circumstances concerning healthcare or well-being of humans or animals or any disaster or industrial dispute affecting the Event Organiser or a third party.
2.8. “Merchandise” is any branded product bearing the Event logo and sold by, or on behalf of, the Event Organiser.
2.9. “SSL” Secure Socket Layer which is a protocol used on the internet to encrypt data to ensure secure transmission and usually is denoted by a padlock symbol at the bottom of the Customer’s browser.
2.10. “Site” the Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone, near Towcester, Northamptonshire including any building on the Site.
2.11. ”Ticket(s)” any ticket transaction conducted by a Customer to gain access to the Event, or a specific aspect of it, including but not limited to: General entry, car club display package incorporating the infield vehicle display pass, hospitality, and camping at Silverstone Woodlands.
2.12. “Website” this website or any other website from which the Event Organiser conducts its business of organising the Event and selling Tickets, Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services.
2.13. “Working Days” Monday to Friday, excluding Bank or other Public holidays.
2.14. “Working Hours” 09:00-17:00 UK time on the Working Days.
3. APPLICATION OF CONDITIONS
The Conditions apply in their entirety to:
3.1. All the Event Organiser's operations including those of any or all of their respective agents, partners, affiliates, joint ventures, organisers, managers, and companies under the management or control of the Event Organiser or their holding company (however involved) in the supply of goods, products and/or services on behalf of the Event Organiser.
3.2. The use of the Website for any purpose.
3.3. All contracts of any kind with the Customer including Ticket and Merchandise purchases.
4. PRIORITY OF SALES AND PURCHASE TERMS
4.1. The Conditions have priority over all conditions of sale and purchase issued by any third party or the Customer.
4.2. Any purchase terms and conditions issued or claimed by the Customer are hereby excluded in their entirety (other than any implied conditions contained in any applicable Consumer Protection Regulations so far as they are required by statute to apply to any transaction between the Customer and the Event Organiser).
4.3. Where any implied terms apply to any such transaction and where there is conflict between the Conditions and any such implied conditions the Conditions so far as is permitted by law or statute shall prevail.
4.4. The order of precedence (in the priority of the legal provisions applying to any transaction relating to the Event) is:
4.4.1. Any specific or additional terms and conditions or limitation of use applied to individual products Tickets services or promotions issued or provided by the Event Organiser or any other person or entity on their behalf.
4.4.2. These Conditions in their entirety.
5. SERVICE TERMS
5.1. Transaction methods may include:
5.1.1. Via this Website;
5.1.2. By telephone using the numbers advertised and following the procedure described by the representative who deals with the Customer over the telephone;
5.1.3. Via one of the approved third parties with whom the Event Organiser contracts, including, but not limited to, Virgin Experience Days Limited and Buyagift Plc;
5.1.4. By post and cheque (at least ten (10) Working Days must be allowed for clearance); and
5.1.5. By Card on the day of the Event.
5.2. All Tickets, Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services are subject to availability.
5.3. The Event Organiser makes reasonable efforts to supply goods, products and/or services as advertised but reserves the right to vary or withdraw as follows to deal with circumstances or issues beyond its reasonable control:
5.3.1. The Event dates;
5.3.2. The Event opening and closing times;
5.3.3. The performers at any concert (and where it is possible to replace them with any other performers the Event Organiser will use reasonable endeavours to obtain as similar an act as practicable in the circumstances);
5.3.4. The content of any grids and drivers in any race programme;
5.3.5. The holding of any race or any other attraction;
5.3.6. The format, content and/or design of any goods, products and/or services;
5.3.7. The scope of any services at any time at their sole discretion;
5.3.8. The closure, removal or cancellation of any part of the attractions or entertainments for any reason including, but not limited to, technical, health and safety and operational reasons;
5.3.9. Any other aspects of the Event; and
5.3.10. For the avoidance of doubt, subject to the provisions of clause 11, the full value or part of the value of the Tickets will not be refunded nor will any compensation be payable if any or part of the attractions or entertainments at the Event become unavailable, are varied or are closed or removed.
5.3.11. In the case of bulk Ticket purchases, additional terms and conditions apply. Any order of ten or more Tickets (or any number of orders resulting in the same Customer receiving in excess of nine tickets) shall be subject to the following conditions:
- The Customer warrants that the Tickets are purchased for personal and private use.
- The Customer shall; not sell or transfer any of the Tickets for financial or commercial gain without prior written permission from the Event Organiser.
The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove the bearers of Tickets purchased or received in contravention to this clause, 5.3.11.
5.4. Without prejudice to the rights of the Event Organiser under clause 5.3, if the Event Organiser cannot supply any goods, products and/or services ordered by the Customer the Event Organiser reserves the right to offer goods, products and/or services of a similar, equal or superior quality or value at no extra cost. In the event that the Customer does not wish to accept the alternative goods, products and/or services, the Customer may wish to request a refund, the policy for which is detailed at clause 11.
5.5. Subject to statute law, the risk of a Force Majeure event shall be carried by the Customer alone but the Event Organiser may (at their absolute discretion and subject to availability of the Site) offer an alternative date for the day affected by a Force Majeure event.
5.6. If in their discretion the Event Organiser decides that a happening is not sufficiently serious to constitute a Force Majeure event, the Event will continue although the programme and attractions of the Event may be disrupted.
5.7. Where (in spite of its reasonable efforts) the Event Organiser is unable to perform an obligation due to Force Majeure it shall not be in breach of its contract with the Customer.
5.8. The complete Ticket for the relevant day must be presented to gain entry to the event. Entry will be denied should any part of the Ticket not be presented or become detached.
5.9. Children under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
5.10. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the venue who do not comply with the venue rules or these Conditions or in reasonable circumstances (for example, in the event that the person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or is inappropriately dressed or behaving inappropriately, who represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to the staging of the Event or who have in his or her possession prohibited items, which shall include but not be limited to alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, chemicals of any kind, drones, glass bottles, barbeques, mopeds, scooters and any other unauthorised motorised transport, ladders, laser pens, weapons or any offensive materials in whatever format). The Event Organiser further reserves the right to conduct security searches of persons and their belongings to ensure the safety of persons at the Event. For security measures, persons may be refused admission to/removed from the venue/filmed by CCTV. You consent to any CCTV footage that may be taken of you for general security measures. You consent that The Event Organiser may itself use or pass to the police or other relevant authority any recordings from CCTV footage for use in any proceedings. Pass-outs and re-admissions to the venue shall be granted at the Event Organiser’s discretion. Re-admission shall only be possible if a valid official pass-out is presented.
5.11. Tickets are non-transferable and not for resale. If a Ticket is resold or transferred for profit or for commercial gain (including as part of a promotion or prize) without the authority of the Event Organiser it will become void and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue. Illegible Tickets shall be void. An ethical and convenient way to re-sell Tickets is offered, however, enabling the selling and buying of spare Tickets, safely and securely, at the price that was paid or less, via the Fan-to-Fan Marketplace. 5.12. The Ticket is purchased for the Event. The Event Organiser reserves the right to alter or vary the content, timing or dates of the whole or any part of the Event including advertised details due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange Tickets.
5.13. Tickets include the use of certain grandstand seats but do not guarantee access to any particular grandstand or seat allocation and are subject to seat availability.
5.14. Still image cameras and telephones are permitted provided that any image, film, recording or data created, recorded, or stored thereon is used for personal, private or non-commercial purposes. Any kind of sound recording/visual footage/audio-visual footage/information/other data for any other purposes must not be made, created, stored, recorded or transmitted without the express written permission of the Event Organiser. Equipment that may enable you to do the aforementioned acts is not permitted.
5.15. You assign copyright in any image/film/recording you make at the event to the Event Organiser and agree that such image/film/recording shall not be used for public advertisement, commercial gain or any other purpose (except private enjoyment) without prior written consent from the Event Organiser.
5.16. By attending the Event, you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audiovisual recording to be exploited in any and all media for promotional purposes at any time throughout the world, the copyright to which shall be owned by the Event Organiser or its contractors without payment or compensation. If you attend the Event with a child within your care aged under 18 years you give the Event Organiser your express consent on their behalf. This includes filming by the police or security staff that may be carried out for the security of customers.
5.17. Motor racing is dangerous and noisy. Silverstone Circuits Ltd, the Event Organiser (including officials, marshals, rescue, medical staff), competitors and drivers, are not responsible for any loss, damage, death, serious injury or disability howsoever caused, to you to the maximum extent permitted by law (except in the case of death or personal injury caused by negligence of the above parties). By attending this Event, which involves motorsport and motor vehicles, attendees acknowledge that they may be exposed to possible risk of physical harm due to the nature of the Event and are therefore present at their own risk.
5.18. Animals (save for assistance dogs) and any articles that compromise public safety are not permitted. It is a condition of entry that no animals are left unattended at a campsite or within vehicles and owners acknowledge that the Event Organiser or their appointed contractor shall be entitled to enter any vehicle by whatever means necessary at the owner’s cost in the event that any animal has been left in any vehicle.
5.19. All vehicles (and their contents) parked within any car park operated by the Event, within the grounds of Silverstone Circuit or within the grounds of Silverstone Woodlands Campsite are left at the vehicle owner’s sole risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law the Event shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the vehicle owners arising from their use of any of these areas. The Event Organiser reserves the right to move any vehicle it deems necessary due to logistical, safety or similar reasons.
5.20. You must always keep to the designated areas, routes and walkways using appropriate caution. In particular, care must be taken in wet or adverse weather conditions and appropriate footwear must be worn.
5.21. Camping is only permitted in the designated areas and open fires are strictly prohibited. See clause 19 for Silverstone Woodlands Campsite terms and conditions.
5.22. Attendees must comply with all instructions given by any official, event staff, employee of Silverstone Circuits Ltd. or security personnel.
5.23. No person may use the name of the Event or part thereof (nor any abbreviation or foreign language version thereof) nor any logo or graphic device of or relating to the Event for any commercial purpose whatsoever without the prior written consent of the Event Organiser.
5.24. No person may bring into the Event or use or display around the premises (including car parks) any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials which have not been previously approved in writing by the Event Organiser. It is strictly prohibited to offer or distribute within or around the premises any consumer articles or commercial goods, products and/or services which have not been authorised by the Event Organiser.
5.25. Where any person through negligence or intentional or reckless act cause damage or loss to the Event Organiser, any other guest or Ticket holder or to property at Silverstone Circuit they will be liable to the party suffering any loss or damage.
6. ORDER FULFILMENT
6.1. Tickets, Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services are charged at a price inclusive of VAT (unless expressly indicated), the rate for which is that prevailing at the time of completion of the purchase.
6.2. The Event Organiser reserves the right to modify the prices from time to time prior to any order being made by the Customer.
6.3. Paid orders will be acknowledged with a payment confirmation email which will detail the mechanism by which you will receive your Tickets, Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services.
6.4. Subject to contact details being provided by the Customer at the time of order if:
6.4.1. Any Tickets ordered by the Customer are sold out, the Event Organiser may contact the Customer to:
126.96.36.199. Advise of any alternative Tickets which are still available; and
188.8.131.52. Enquire if the Customer wishes to receive any alternative Tickets or not to proceed with any purchase of Tickets for the Event.
6.4.2. Any Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services ordered by the Customer are out of stock the Event Organiser may contact the Customer to:
184.108.40.206. Inform the Customer of an estimated delivery date; and
220.127.116.11. Enquire if the Customer wishes to receive an alternative product or not to proceed with any purchase from the Event Organiser at that time.
7. PAYMENT PROCESSING (Card transactions)
7.1. Payment processing is performed via SSL between the servers performing on behalf of the Event Organiser and the banking institutions.
7.2. The Event Organiser accepts the following Cards only:
7.2.3. Visa; and
7.2.4. Visa Debit.
Other methods of payment may be available from time to time as determined by the ticket provider and merchandise agent.
7.3. Without prejudice to any general reservation contained elsewhere in these Conditions the Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse to:
7.3.1. Trade with any person where fraudulent use of credit/debit cards is suspected as determined by the Event Organiser at their sole discretion.
7.3.2. Transact with any country where the potential fraudulent use of Cards is considered by the Event Organiser (or its bankers) as an excessive risk.
7.4. The Customer must be the card holder named on the Card to be used to make payment for the order.
7.5. All Card details must be entered correctly on the order form as incorrect data will result in the Card being rejected for payment and can cause delays to the order fulfilment process and disappointment for the Customer.
7.6. Payment is charged to the Card on confirmation of successful payment by the Card issuer and the items ordered by the Customer are in stock.
7.7. Where the Customer nominates a recipient and/or delivery address which is different from the Customer’s address shown in the Card details, the invoice or billing address must be the same address as that of the Customer in those Card details.
7.8. The Event Organiser reserves the right to request additional identification of any kind at their discretion to assist with Card or address verification.
7.9. The Event Organiser reserves the right to use a third party secure payment body to process payments.
8.1. Prices and delivery information are described on the Website and are also detailed in the confirmation email sent upon the completion of all orders.
8.2. Tickets may be dispatched by email. In this circumstance it is the responsibility of each Customer to print their Tickets at home and present for scanning upon arrival at the Event. In the event that the Customer does not have a printer at home, Customers will have the option to show their Ticket at the gate on a mobile phone device for scanning.
8.3. In all other cases where delivery will take place by post:
8.3.1. Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only.
8.3.2. The Event Organiser will make every effort to dispatch goods, products, services and/or Tickets on time but shall not be liable in any way to the Customer if delivery does not occur within the stated time.
8.3.3. Delivery may be provided through third party couriers (at the request and extra cost of the Customer) and postal companies and the Event Organiser is not liable for delays or loss incurred.
8.3.4. Some orders will require a signature on delivery. In such cases a delivery address where the order can be signed for in normal Working Hours must be provided.
8.3.5. The Event Organiser does not accept liability for shortages or damage to deliveries unless the Customer notifies the Event Organiser of the shortage or damage in writing within five (5) Working Days of receipt of the delivery.
8.3.6. The Customer must accept the goods, products, services and/or Tickets when they are ready for delivery.
8.3.7. Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods, products, services and/or Tickets are delivered to the Customer’s nominated email or postal address.
8.3.8. The risks of loss, breakage and all damage shall pass to the Customer on delivery.
8.3.9. Title in the goods, products, services and/or Tickets does not pass to the Customer until payment is received in full by the Event Organiser.
8.3.10. If the Customer cannot accept delivery the Event Organiser may at its sole option:
18.104.22.168. Store and insure the goods, products, services and/or Tickets at the Customer’s expense and risk; or
22.214.171.124. Sell the goods, products, services and/or Tickets at the best price reasonably obtainable and (after deducting reasonable storage insurance and selling costs) pay to the Customer any excess over the sale price or charge the Customer for any shortfall.
8.4. In all situations, it is the responsibility of the Customer to carefully check that the Tickets, Merchandise and any other goods, products and/or services delivered are in accordance with their order.
9. OUT OF STOCK AND NON-AVAILABILITY
9.1. Products out of stock but on order are normally delivered within twenty (20) Working Days but can occasionally take longer.
9.2. Items that are no longer available will be:
9.2.1. Removed from the Website.
9.2.2. Cancelled from the Customer’s order.
9.3. The Customer will be contacted by a customer service representative of the Event Organiser to either select an alternative product or receive a refund.
Cancellation of any order by a Customer can only be accepted in accordance with the Distance Selling Consumer Protection Cancellation of Contracts Away from Business Regulations: 1987.
11. RETURN AND REFUND OF TICKETS
11.1. The Event Organiser is committed to providing their Customers with a high quality service.
11.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law or statute ordered Tickets cannot be returned by the Customer.
11.3. The Event Organiser gives no warranty of any kind (express or implied) that any information about Tickets is accurate up to date or complete.
11.4. Only returns made in accordance with these Conditions will be accepted and are subject to the prior agreement of the Event Organiser in each case.
11.5. Subject to the right of consumers to return goods and products for refund under Consumer Protection Regulations the Event Organiser does not sell Tickets on a trial basis.
11.6. Customers are strongly advised to check the suitability of any Tickets before ordering.
11.7. Without prejudice to the restriction contained in clause 11.2 no return of Tickets can be made by a Customer:
11.7.1. On or after the date to which those Tickets apply.
11.7.2. If the Tickets have been used in any way.
11.8. In the event that the Event Organiser, at its discretion, agrees to accept the return for credit of unwanted Tickets, the Tickets must be returned with the Event Organiser’s prior agreement within five (5) Working Days of delivery.
11.9. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery and the Customer is therefore strongly advised to send the Customer’s package to the Event Organiser by recorded delivery registered post or courier.
11.10. The Event Organiser’s policy is to give a refund in the event of cancellation of any racing other than for a Force Majeure event but only if fewer than half of the scheduled races/qualifying sessions have started on the relevant day.
11.11. If fewer than half of the scheduled races/qualifying sessions have started on any day, the relevant Customer will be entitled to a refund of that percentage of the Ticket price for that day which is equal to the percentage of the races/qualifying sessions scheduled to start on the relevant day which did not start. For example, if four out of seven races did not start, the refund would be of 57.14 per cent of the Ticket price.
11.12. For multi-day Tickets, the refund will be calculated as above but by reference to that percentage of the notional Ticket price for the relevant day (not the Ticket price) on the basis that the notional Ticket price will be the full Ticket price multiplied by an apportionment factor. The apportionment factor is calculated by dividing the single day Ticket price of the day suffering cancellations by the total of the individual single day Ticket prices for which the original multi-day Ticket covers (the Ticket prices involved in the apportionment factor are those prevailing at the time of the original multi-day Ticket purchase).
11.13. The booking fee element of each Ticket (usually 7.5% of the Ticket price) and the fees for any other services are not refundable in these circumstances.
11.14. Clauses 11.10 to 11.13 shall not apply in the case of the dates of the Event being varied of the premises being closed and subsequently reopening on the same day (notwithstanding clause 11.11) or in the case of delay of any race or activity.
11.15. In all cases:
11.15.1 Any cancellation or abandonment must be formally notified by Silverstone Classic either through a formal announcement at the Event or on the Website before any refunds are payable pursuant to clauses 11.10 to 11.13.When making any formal notification the process for obtaining a refund will be outlined.
11.15.2. Refunds will not be made on the day of the Event. Any claims made must be within 30 days from the date of the cancelled Event. Claims made outside of the 30 days from the date of the cancelled event will not be considered for a refund.
11.15.3. Refunds will only be made when following the official process outlined in the formal notification.
11.15.4. Refunds will only be made to the Ticket purchaser and not to any third parties or parties who have not entered into a commercial transaction with Classic Historic Racing Limited or The Way Ahead Group Limited.
12. RETURN OF GOODS, PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES
12.1. The Event Organiser is committed to providing its Customers with a high quality service.
12.2. In keeping with the Event Organiser's commitment to providing Customers with a high quality service the Event Organiser offers the returns facilities for goods, products and/or services set out in this Clause 12.
12.3. The Event Organiser gives no warranty of any kind (express or implied) that any information about goods, products and/or services is accurate up to date or complete.
12.4. No statements by the Event Organiser relating to any goods, products and/or services (including on the Website) constitutes any warranty that the goods, products and/or services are fit for a particular purpose or of satisfactory quality.
12.5. Only returns made in accordance with these Conditions will be accepted.
12.6. Subject to the right of consumers to return goods, products and/or services for refund under Consumer Protection Regulations the Event Organiser does not sell goods, products and/or services on a trial basis.
12.7. Customers are strongly advised to check the suitability and specification of any goods, products and/or services before ordering.
12.8. Any returned goods, products, services and/or must be in perfect re-saleable condition and returned in their original packaging.
12.9. The Event Organiser will accept the return of defective goods, products and/or services for full refund or replacement only if the goods, products and/or services are returned within five (5) Working Days of delivery.
12.10. The Event Organiser’s customer service is able to advise the Customer which method of delivery to use to return goods products and/or services depending on the nature of the goods products and/or services.
12.11. The Event Organiser cannot accept liability for packages damaged during transit.
12.12. It is the Customer’s responsibility to wrap the product adequately to prevent damage.
12.13. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery and the Customer is therefore strongly advised to send the Customer’s package to the Event Organiser by recorded delivery registered post or courier.
12.14. Any such package should be sufficiently insured by the Customer to cover the full purchase price of the items contained in it.
12.15. No refund shall be due in respect of any goods, products and/or services which have been opened, used, worn, altered or damaged in any way by the Customer or its employees or agents.
12.16. No refund shall be due in respect of goods, products and/or services not used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
13. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY
13.1. The Event Organiser operates a customer satisfaction policy.
13.2. If the Customer is not satisfied with their experience or the quality of any goods, products and/or service supplied by the Event Organiser the Customer should contact the Event Organiser using the contact details on the Website.
13.3. The Event Organiser will duly investigate the Customer’s enquiry and make an initial reply to the Customer within fifteen (15) Working Days.
13.4. The Event Organiser will also provide the Customer with an estimate as to the time required to resolve any problem reported by the Customer to the Event Organiser.
13.5. The Event Organiser will keep the Customer informed throughout this process.
14.1. The Event Organiser shall under no circumstances be liable for any consequential or indirect damage or loss (however caused) including (but not restricted to) loss of profits, loss of goodwill, damage to trading relationships, and financial loss arising in any way from the Event or any transaction involving the Event Organiser.
14.2. The Event Organiser's liability in respect of all other losses shall be limited to the invoiced value of the relevant order.
14.3. In accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Consumer Protection Act 1987 the Event Organiser confirms that the goods it supplies do not present a hazard to health and safety when properly used for the purpose for which they are designed and when the Customer takes reasonable and normal precautions in their use.
14.4. Every effort is taken to ensure that goods, product and/or services text and images accurately portray the goods, product and/or services concerned, however, slight variations may occur.
14.5. If the Customer chooses to use the Website (including the purchase of goods, product and/or services the Event Organiser will not be liable for any loss of profit income or business opportunity or any other direct or indirect loss which results from any failure or delay by the Event Organiser.
14.6. The Event Organiser shall not be liable in any way for any virus transmission from the Website to the Customer’s computer or other electronic equipment.
14.7. Neither the Event Organiser nor any of the Event Organiser's employees shall be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of any use by the Customer or its invitees of the Site during the Event.
14.8. Nothing in these terms purports to exclude or limit the Event Organiser's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or by any other breach or to exclude or limit any liability beyond the extent to which any relevant law allows such exclusion or limitation.
14.9. The Event Organiser shall not be liable for any damage suffered by the Customer or its invitees or to their property of any kind in the course of the Event whether on the Site or otherwise.
14.10. The Event Organiser shall not be liable for any damage suffered by any vehicle travelling to the Site for the Event arising from traffic delays en route.
14.11. Motor racing is dangerous and death or serious injury can be suffered by spectators.
15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
15.1. “Rocking and Racing” and the stylised guitar/race track logo are the Trade Marks of the Event Organiser. No right of reproduction of the same is granted unless with the express written permission of the Event Organiser.
15.2. "Silverstone Classic" is the Trade Mark of The British Racing Drivers’ Club Limited whose registered office is: Eighth Floor, 6 New Street Square, London, EC4A 3AQ.
15.3. All Website design text graphics displays layout and all software compilations underlying source code software (including applets) and all other material on this Website are copyright of the Event Organiser and their affiliates or their content and technology providers.
15.4. All rights are reserved.
15.5. The Event Organiser, or entities with which they have contracted, own or are licenced to use all copyright database rights or similar rights and information within this Website.
15.6. Permission is granted to copy electronically and to print in hard copy only portions of this Website for personal use only following:
15.6.1. The placing of an order with the Event Organiser or companies under their management or operation; or
15.6.2. The Customer otherwise using this Website as a shopping resource.
15.7. All such replications must retain original copyright and proprietary notices.
15.8. Any other use of materials on this Website including reproduction for purposes other than those described above modification distribution or republishing without the prior written permission of the Event Organiser is strictly prohibited.
16. CONTRACT RELATIONS
16.1. No contract will subsist between the Customer and the Event Organiser for the sale by them to the Customer of any Tickets or goods, products and/or services unless and until:
16.1.1. In the case of an order by telephone, when the sales representative has confirmed acceptance of the order on the telephone (unless the Customer gives that representative details of the Customer’s email address whereupon clause 17.1.2 shall apply).
16.1.2. In the case of an order via this Website, when a confirmation email has been sent with acceptance of the Customer’s order, whether or not the Customer receives that email.
16.2. Any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in England and shall be subject to English law only and the jurisdiction of the English courts in London only.
16.3. The Event Organiser reserves the right to use another court if they alone so decide.

Please read the Silverstone Woodlands Campsite Terms & Conditions here. The Event Organiser works with Silverstone Woodlands as the official campsite for the Event - while the Event Organiser acts as a reseller of camping, it is not responsible for the campsite and has no jurisdiction over the campsite.
20. GOVERNING LAW
These Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and, subject to any applicable law governing consumer contracts, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts only.
