Much-loved TV personality and renowned motoring mastermind, Mike Brewer, is returning with his hugely-popular Car Clinics as one of the major off-track highlights at this summer’s event. This year, the attraction is being presented by Haynes Publishing.
While still at school, in 1956 a young John Haynes wrote and published his book on building a ‘special’ based on an Austin 7. Then, ten years later, the first ‘proper’ Haynes Owners Workshop Manual followed the strip-down and rebuild of a Frogeye, complete with the practical step-by-step photography that has become so synonymous with all Haynes manuals. It's fitting that these two cars should form part of the line-up for Mike's Clinics this year.
In the breaks between racing on Saturday and Sunday at the Silverstone Classic, Mike will once be casting his expert eye over a great line-up of selected classic cars, sharing hints and tips on a number of restoration projects from dusty barn finds to stunningly renovated automotive icons.
Located in the busy JET Village Green area, you're once again promised a diverse and appealing selection of cars in Mike's Clinics. Details of the full line-up are as follows...
