Silverstone Classic isn’t just about fantastic racing, it's ‘Rocking and Racing’ with great live music to enjoy after racing on Friday and Saturday evenings.
The Friday night line-up was a special Summer of Love celebration. The Bootleg Beatles, widely hailed as the world’s premier Fab Four tribute group, topped the Friday night bill at the 2017 Classic and further #1 live tribute acts – Who’s Next and Are You Experienced? – joined The Bootleg Beatles on the nostalgic Friday night Summer of Love bill.
Saturday evening’s live music line-up had more of an eighties feel to it with Spandau Ballet’s former front-man Tony Hadley topping Saturday night’s bill and The Dire Straits Experience, formed when original sax-playing band member, Chris White, teamed-up with singer-songwriter Terence Reis, also took to the stage on Saturday evening. The unforgettable music of Spandau Ballet and Dire Straits defined the eighties and it was very special to hear all those timeless songs performed again at this summer’s Silverstone Classic!
