The 24th, 25th and 26th July are the dates for the 2009 Silverstone Classic –3 days of Music and Racing. The Classic is a perfect blend of rare cars, tasty food, great people, music acts and world class motor racing with classic cars from the last 90 years.

 Silverstone Classic wins the carbon neutral race
Britain’s largest historic racing event has achieved what the organisers believe is a motorsport ‘first’, by offsetting the entire event’s carbon output.
The carbon produced by the Silverstone Classic’s 700 participating race cars, 60,000 spectators and the event infrastructure - including paddock support vehicles and catering trucks - will all be neutralised.
Carbon-Cutter, an official partner of the Silverstone Classic, will cover all costs of the carbon offset, calculated at a 1200 to full story |
