What’s the event about?

The 2012 Silverstone Classic is a fabulous 3 day weekend of ‘Flat Out Fun for all the Family’. Now in its 22nd year, the ‘World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival’, with over 800 fabulous and exotic race cars competing, attracting over 1000 competitors, over 7000 beautiful classic cars on the infield, an ‘Access All Areas’ policy, rock and classical music entertainment on a grand scale, aerobatic displays, a period fun fair, shopping, and so much more to entertain you, the Silverstone Classic is the place to be on July 20-22 in 2012.

Highlights for the family entertainment include:

  • 800 exotic, rare, and valuable race cars competing, more than you’ll see anywhere else in the world in one place
  • Around 1000 race drivers and owners, with all their autographs to be collected
  • Over 20 exciting races over the weekend
  • Around 7000 beautiful classic cars on display over the course of the weekend
  • Music and entertainment with Adam Ant, Mike & The Mechanics, and other top bands to be announced
  • A classical extravaganza on Sunday with Tetra Electra and others
  • High class aerobatic displays and parachute free falls
  • A visit to the fabulous new ‘Silverstone Wing’ pit complex
