What’s the event about?
The 2013 Silverstone Classic is a fabulous 3 day weekend of ‘Flat Out Fun for all the Family’. Now in its 23rd year, the ‘World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival’, with around 1000 beautiful and exotic race cars competing, attracting over 1000 competitors, with over 7000 fabulous classic cars on the infield over the weekend, an ‘Access All Areas’ policy allowing the spectator close to all the action, rock and classical music entertainment on a grand scale, aerobatic displays, a period fun fair, shopping, and so much more to entertain you, the Silverstone Classic is the place to be on July 26-28 in 2013.
Highlights for the family entertainment include:
- 1000 exotic, rare, and valuable race cars competing, more than you’ll see anywhere else in the world in one place
- Around 1000 race drivers and owners, with all their autographs to be collected
- Over 20 exciting races over the weekend
- Around 7000 beautiful classic cars on display over the course of the weekend
- Music and entertainment with 'The Hollies' and 'The Stars of the Commitments' headlining
- A classical extravaganza on Sunday with Tetra Electra and others
- High class aerobatic displays and parachute free falls
- A visit to the fabulous new ‘Silverstone Wing’ pit complex
